About Us

Established in 1950, Consumers Cooperative FCU, is a financially sound institution providing quality, personalized, competitive services to all of our membership.  We service all employees and customers of WESTCO.

Our knowledgeable and friendly staff welcome your inquiries.  We strive to make each visit to our office a warm and personal experience.  Knowing each of you by name is important to us.  We will do whatever we can to make doing business with us hassle-free.  Our goal is to put our members first in all we do.

We provide products and services that help the financial stability and economic growth for both our members and our community.

As part of your community, we plan for the future to help individuals and business achieve and maintain financial success, stability, and prosperity.

Plus, when you’re a member of Consumers Cooperative FCU, you’re not just a customer but part-owner of your credit union. Member assets are pooled to provide loans and other financial services to fellow members.

Credit unions are not-for-profit, which means that instead of dividends going to shareholders, the profits are put back into the credit union to bring members lower fees and better rates.

Board of Directors & Committee Members

Each year, at our Annual Membership Appreciation Dinner and Meeting, members have the opportunity to vote for the governing Board of Directors and Committee vacancies that may become open.  Each volunteer is elected to a 3 year term.  A reorganization meeting is held immediately following the Annual Meeting to determine the structure of our Board.  Our current Board consists of five members and meets on a montly basis.

The Credit Committee is comprised of three elected individuals who review those loan requests that are outside the scope of our loan officers' authority.

The Supervisory Committee is comprised of three Board appointed individuals who are in charge of  the internal operations of the Credit Union.  Their main responsibility is to see that the rules and regulatons of both NCUA and those developed by our Board of Directors are carried out thus insuring the safety and soundness of our Credit Union.
